Flying Site Information

All Mountaineer sites are in the Cumberland, Maryland area, except as noted.

High Point (W-N)

Zirk's (NW)

Spruce Knob (NE-SE, light winds; Seneca Rocks area)

These sites have grassy launches friendly to HGs and PGs.

Fairgrounds (light SW-NW, cliff launch)

Pinnacles (SE, shallow slope)

These sites are also appropriate for HGs and PGs.

North Mountain (WSW-NNW, ramp launch; Seneca Rocks area)

Hang glider-only site.
